Hello, I have some wp bitnami instances, and after 3 days we cannot send emails.
I followed forum and documentation, but I receive this error:

There was a problem while sending the test email.

I used /opt/bitnami/bnsupport-tool --runSMTPTool 1 for Test:

SMTP Host: smtp.gmail.com

SMTP Port: 587

Encryption: TLS

Authentication: On

SMTP Username: USERNAME@gmail.com

SMTP Password: PASSWORD

Hello @mark38,

Gmail needs an extra manual verification to enable SMTP for your account. Google should have sent you a confirmation email, did you confirm enabling SMTP? Apart from that, the SMTP test is receiving a Bad credentials error from Google, could you check their help page and see if there is anything misconfigured?
