Some weeks ago I created a new wordpress instance using AWS Lightsail.
I have been doing the modifications to the webpage by accessing through the static IP address. This worked fine.
This week I have been trying to make the site open to the public through a subdomain:
The first thing I did was to create a DNS A record for blog.mydomain.com pointing to the static IP address.
Second thing I did was to enable SSL using let's encrypt, by following:
and setting my subdomain there.
Everything looked fine.
Now, when I go to: blog.mydomain.com I get redirected to the login page, instead of the site's index
What I have try so far:
- Configure the WP domain name as described in https://docs.bitnami.com/bch/apps/wordpress/administration/configure-domain/
With no luck. Same problem.
The site is not a multisite WP.
I would appreciate some guidance, since I am not a fan of modifying configuration files without knowing what I am doing.
