Would like to start out with that I am an idiot. I can work my way in most Windows environments but for some reason Linux and the terminal and commands simply won't stick and I get frustrated and irritated instead. Also shows how far Microsoft has come I guess.
Anyway, short backstory: I moved from a webhotel in Sweden to Hetzner to host a couple of websites, pointed the DNS to the right IP and everything is up and running quite nice actually.
I'm using the Bitnami Wordpress Multisite but wanted to learn how to actually install something on Linux so first went with a LAMP installation: Failed miserably. So Bitnami was the way to go.
Now there are one main page and a couple of subdomains. I followed the Bitnami documents, ran the BN Cert and it says everything works out well. But when trying t to reach the now secured sites only half of a site renders, the images are gone and so on. I remove the SSL again and everything is back to normal.
I also tried the "alternative" method but I can literally not comprehend what the manual says. I read the short steps but cant reproduce it in the terminal, the shortcuts aren't the same, bitnami dir doesnt exist - nothing in the documents matches my installation which seems to be the most common problem actually.
I can't see spelling errors or replace something with something else because my knowledge and general interest in this is too low - as I see it, it should be a point and click and be done with. Especially something simple and important as SSL.
So now I'm asking for help, can someone guide me through an SSL- installation on a default installation of Wordpress Multisite?
Thanks in advance!
