Wordpress internal 500 error on published pages only

This is a recent issue - since last wp upgrade

When I try to access a published page it returns an internal 500 error.

This does not affect the home page, but all other published pages.

It does not affect access to unpublished pages - either as draft or pending.

This is a small site. I have increased the swap memory, but it hasn't made any difference.

Not too sure why, or where to look for an answer.

Hello @kevin8,

If you haven't done any configuration change after the upgrade and the issue started after it, it may be related to a plugin not supporting your current Wordpress version. Could you try disabling your plugins and/or going back to a default theme to rule out this probable cause?

Thanks. Installed a new instance, now have much bigger problems.

Hello @kevin8,

Do you are experiencing the same issue in the new instance? Did you try disabling plugins and/or your theme to verify the issue was not caused by any of them?
