Keywords: WordPress - AWS - Technical issue - Domain Name (DNS)
We have set up or Bitnami wordpress site behind a reverse proxy. Anything going to www.example.com will go to our bitnami wordpress site. Anything going to www.example.com/app will go to our app server.
We have set up a CNAME for our wordpress site at prod-marketing.example.com so that our proxy can just point to that subdomain incase we ever change the IP for our wordpress site and so we can use SSL.
In the wp-config.php i have defined our site url and wp_home:
define( 'WP_HOME', 'https://www.example.com' );
define( 'WP_SITEURL', 'https://www.example.com' );
and everything seems to be working fine until I'm in the media library section of the admin and click "Next Page" It points me to the prod-marketing subdomain rather than the www URL.
Where would wordpress/bitnami be getting that URL from? How do I force it to use www?
