Description:
Hi there,

I’m running the latest release of WP on an AWS Marketplace sourced Bitnami image. I have everything setup from an AWS perspective (ALB / EC2 and Cloudfront). But I cannot work out how I can switch out the WordPress Address and Site Address values. They are greyed out in the UI, so I’ve followed the docs and updated the config replacing the variable entries, with these

define(‘WP_SITEURL’, ‘http://www.jih.ie/’);
define(‘WP_HOME’, ‘http://www.jih.ie/’);

With those values set, and the services restarted, I’m getting too many redirects in my client testing.

Hello @chris19,

A user faced a similar issue and it was related to a missing domain in the SSL certificate, could you please check if that would be also your case:

Francisco de Paz

Thanks Francisco,

It definitely has something to do with Cloudfront. If I remove that from the traffic path everything works. I’ll do some more digging on this and see what I can work out.

Kind regards,
Chris
