I'm having a permission issue and the guys helping me are confused about "who" is running Apache and SVN under Linux. The package was installed under my account instead of root. The repo the install package created seems to work fine but the one created on a mounted nas won't allow commits.
"Normally when you install and run apache and subversion, their packages will install and setup a user. Apache will create a http user and Subversion will create an svn user and svnusers group. When the process start then they run as those users. But with bitnami and the way it is bundled then the processes run with your account.
Maybe someone from Bitnami has come across this issue before and can help. "
