WordPress uses the one user approach when setting the permissions of the installation directory and the Bitnami installation uses a 2 users approach.
bitnami user is the owner of all the files in the WordPress installation directory. That allows you edit any file in the installation folder using the command line
daemon group is the owner of the files too. Apache uses the daemon group to read/edit the WordPress' files.
With that, the permissions of the files should be 664 and the folders should have 775 as permissions (user and group have write permissions in the files and folders)
In this case, only the bitnami user has write permissions to edit the file
