i want to know how to expending the server storage for the user data.
On the VM player, i have increase the HDD size to 500GB.
however, on the owncloud client program, it only show x.xGB (xx.x%) of 13GB server space in use. i have do test to sync more that my server space (13gb) then.... owncloud sync prompt error and not able to sync.
how i can increase my server space size to bigger size?
i have check the partition using fdisk -l command
i have 2 partition
/dev/sda1 -- linux /dev/sda2 --> swap
but the "End value" of the SDA1 is near to "Start value" on SDA2.
resize2fs not allow me to resize due to limited block.
how can i solve this problem?

Hello, I deployed my owncloud instance on a VM within the Windows Azure cloud, by means of the BitNami VHD provided there (Thank you!). My problem is that the drive was only 30 GB in size. For that, I would like to add a secondary drive about 1TB in size to the VM in question (one can do that easily), but how do I enable BitNami OwnCloud to use it, post-install? Thanks, Robin
here are the step
cd /opt/bitnami/apps/owncloud sudo rsync -a data/ /tmp/temporaldatafolder mv data/ dataBK/ mkdir data sudo mount -t ext4 /dev/sda3 /opt/bitnami/apps/owncloud/data sudo rsync -a /tmp/temporaldatafolder/ /opt/bitnami/apps/owncloud/data/
after reboot vm owncloud.....
i have this error on owncloud webpage
Data directory (/opt/bitnami/apps/owncloud/data) is invalid
Please check that the data directory contains a file ".ocdata" in its root. Data directory (/opt/bitnami/apps/owncloud/data) not writable by ownCloud Permissions can usually be fixed by giving the webserver write access to the root directory.
