Hi, @pfworks.

See this guide for instructions on how to configure FileZilla: https://docs.bitnami.com/aws/faq/administration/upload-files/

Regards,
Alejandro

I’ve followed three different sets of instructions. What am I missing? User ID/Password issue? IP address issue? I’m so ready to scape this service.

According to the article I linked, you need your key in PPK format for using it with FileZilla. From your log it looks like you are using a PEM file. Did you try with the key in PPK format?

Yes, I used putty to convert key to ppk.

Hi @ronniecanty,

but did you later configure Putty with that new PPK file so it can use it when opening the connection to the server?

No, I used the ppk file in FileZilla.

Ok, and I understand everything worked as expected now, no?

Absolutely not! Not sure how to step by step troubleshoot the process. Uninstalled and reinstalled FileZilla, repackaged pem to ppk several times. Attempted connections following several different sets of instructions. I’m at a loss.

Hi @ronniecanty,

What error do you get now when using the PPK file? Are you getting an error related to the file itself or with the connection?

You have some guides here to convert from .pem to .ppk, did you follow them? Please note that the first one is an official guide from AWS
