Which version of the application are you using?:
Just downloaded Resource Space, assume it is latest.
Please choose how you got the application: Installer (Windows, Linux, macOS), cloud image (AWS, GCE, Azure, ...) or VM (VMDK, VBOX):
MacOS .DMG disk image.
Have you installed any plugin or modified any configuration file?:
No, but I want to!
Describe here your question/suggestion/issue (expected and actual results):
I want to deploy stuff on an existing server that is successfully running Apache 2, PHP, and MariaDB (a MySQL clone).
Is there a quick tutorial somewhere for how to "subtract out" bits of the Bitnami stack? I crawled around inside the /Applications/resourcespace-8.3-0 folder, but I didn't see any obvious way to swap out stack components. My goal would be to change one thing at a time from Bitnami to our stack, fix what breaks, lather, rinse, repeat.
That said, I think what you guys are doing is wonderful, and it is nice to be able to download, install, test, and evaluate open source stuff before migrating it to our in-house stack — not to mention avoiding the pain and suffering that inevitably comes with starting from source! Thanks!
PS: I did search around here for a while, but didn't find much alternative configuration information. Perhaps I looked in the wrong spot…
