First of all, thank you for your nice words and your interest on BitNami. I think ownCloud does not ship this option yet. I suggest you to use a mounting point. I mean, after adding the new storage to your system, you should follow the next steps (please, backup everything before following them).
I am assuming that:
- Your new 1TB storage drive is set as /dev/sdb1, if not, just replace it reference in the commands below.
- Your new 1TB storage drive is formatted as ext4.
sudo rsync -a data/ /tmp/temporaldatafolder
mv data/ dataBK/
sudo mount -t ext4 /dev/sdb1 /opt/bitnami/apps/owncloud/data
sudo rsync -a /tmp/temporaldatafolder/ /opt/bitnami/apps/owncloud/data/
That way, the /opt/bitnami/apps/owncloud/data/ will be mapped to your new storage drive with its capacity. Also, you have to keep in mind always mounting the partition before start the service.
