Hi Ibone, have you had the chance to look through the linked guide?
Thanks,

Hi Ibone, have you had the chance to look through the linked guide?

Hi @doug.morrison,
What’s approach are you following A or B?
Did it work by copying the data? Or did it fail on the ‘rm’?
Regards,
Ibone.
Hi,
I am using approach B. There are no errors when following the guide. Only when I try and access the Moodle web page to manage the upgrade of the database do I see the 404 error.
Thanks
Doug
Hi @doug.morrison,
After that did you import the database https://docs.bitnami.com/virtual-machine/apps/moodle/administration/migrate/#import-the-database/ and restart apache?
Regards,
Ibone.
Hi,
Yeah, exactly that.
Thanks,
Doug
Hi @doug.morrison,
could you add a screenshot of the 404?
please check the apache logs and tell me if you see any error you can use this guide https://docs.bitnami.com/virtual-machine/apps/moodle/troubleshooting/debug-errors-apache/
specially in /opt/bitnami/apache2/logs/access_log
Regards,
Ibone.
Hi,
I will post screens of logs below as I can only attach one picture per reply…
Note that index.php does not exist in the stated directory, nor did it prior to upgrading the stack…
Hi Ibone,
Does the above help identify the issue?
Thanks,
Doug
Hi @doug.morrison,
I found this thread in the forum of moodle https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=263448
Maybe it’s a good idea you open the issue in that forum
https://moodle.org/mod/forum/view.php?id=50
probably someone with more experience and knowledge about that specific tool can help you better than we can.
Regards,
Ibone.
Hi @doug.morrison,
I was investigating a little longer it seems you have your application in ‘/’ and now it’s changed, could you run the next command?
sudo /opt/bitnami/apps/moodle/bnconfig --appurl /
Regards,
Ibone.
Hi Ibone,
Not sure why that would be the case as the application ran from /opt/bitnami… and I have followed the Bitnami guide to specify the /opt/bitnami directory for upgrading to.
There is no output from the command you have suggested:
Thanks,
Doug
Hi @doug.morrison,
Could you restart apache and try to access the application?
sudo /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh restart apache
Regards,
Ibone.
Hi, tried this many times with no effect.
Hi @doug.morrison,
Could you rerun the bnsupport
again, to see the changes after that command?
Regards,
Ibone.
Hi @shubharora734,
You can open a new topic with all the information all the case. For clearly reasons and in order to keep the information accessible to the rest of the community.
