We detected a problem in our system yesterday that prevented the authentication with the Amazon Web Services (AWS) API. The source of the problem was a clock mismatch between one of our servers and the Amazon infrastructure. We have already fixed the mismatch and verified that the clock synchronization works again as it was expected.
Note that the issue was basically preventing some of our servers to detect the cloud resources status in a proper way, detecting it as a cloud credentials problem. It did not affect the operation of any of your running machines.
The issue was already fixed on our side, and all the affected scheduled tasks were re-enabled. All the accounts should be fully operational again. Please note that the problem is not related to any misconfigured AWS credentials and that you don't need to setup them again.
We have contacted the affected users individually through our Help Desk system. Please use that system if you have more specific questions about your particular account.
