Keywords: RabbitMQ - Microsoft Azure - Technical issue - OtherDescription: We noticed that the memory usage on one of the 3 RabbitMQ nodes is way higher than the other 2 nodes. We are new to RabbitMQ so maybe we dont completely understand how RabbitMQ clusters work. Since this environment is hosted in Azure, it was easy to just resize the nodes to give them more memory which took care of the issue but I am posting this here because I am curious if such unbalance memory usage is normal behavior for a RabbitMQ cluster (running in Linux)
We have a Support Tool that will gather relevant information for us to analyze your configuration and logs. Could you please download and execute it on the machine where the stack is running by following the steps described in the guide below?
How to Run the Bitnami Support Tool
Please note that you need to paste the code outputted by the tool in your reply.
I ran the support tool. FYI, I upgraded the VM's that the cluster runs on yesterday. The issue I am referring to in this ticket occurred before the upgrade. Not sure if the logs will show that.
Thanks for the information and sorry for not mentioning this in the first message but could you also access the instance/node with the performance problems and run the commands in this guide?
I'd be great if you run the Bitnami Support tool in that node if you didn't do it.
Sorry for not clarifying this in the first message that @michiel sent
