Hi @jota, i'll explain my setup better:
I have my site running at https://www.mysite.com, it's an SPA. That's running on a EC2 instance.
Wordpress is installed on a separated EC2 instance, and its accessed via https://www.mysite.com/blog.
In order to the redirection, I have a nginx reverse proxy in front of both. If the request comes with a /blog, then proxy_pass to the blog, otherwise continue to the normal application.
The first step was to enable SSL, so I enabled it on the nginx proxy, I don't need wordpress to be managing ssl, because it's not accessible without passing by nginx.
The ssl config is working fine. That's solved right now.
The current issue is with URL's without an ending slash (
If you access
https://www.mysite.com/blog/one-post/, it works just fine.
But if you access
https://www.mysite.com/blog/one-post, it gets redirected to
The thing about the admin is when navigating through it, the page tries to push to the history object form the browser, an url with the EC2 domain, but the page has the domain www.mysite.com, so an error is displayed.
- The same thing happens using incognito and different browsers.
- The only way to access the blog is through nginx. Or enabling the access with the EC2 domain name (but in that case the issue dissapears because I'm using the ec2 domain name).
