We assume you are using Bitnami to deploy your application.
Which version of the application are you using?: Wordpress 4.8
Please choose how you got the application: Installer (Windows, Linux, macOS), cloud image (AWS, GCE, Azure, ...) or VM (VMDK, VBOX): I've used an AWS AMI
Have you installed any plugin or modified any configuration file?: I've set the site under /blog using this post https://community.bitnami.com/t/how-to-change-url-from-to-blog/45697
I have a site
www.mysite.com on an Amazon EC2, then I created another instance and installed wordpress 4.8 using a Bitnami AMI.
After that, I changed the url of the wordpress to be available under
www.mysite.com/blog. (using a nginx reverse proxy to redirect to the wordpress site).
I have SSL installed on the main site working fine, but when I tried to use SSL on the wordpress site it does not work. I installed the SSL cert and key fine with the examples from the bitnami docs (https://docs.bitnami.com/installer/components/apache/)
What is happening is all the theme's CSS and JS is loaded under http traffic, thus the browser blocks it for mixed content inside https site.
I have the
wp-config.php with this:
but wordpress keeps using the
http://www.mysite.com to generate the assets URL's.
Ultimately I want all the traffic to go through https.
Do I need to set up the Virtual Hosts config, or something like that?
