Unable to restart apache services after SSL installation

Description:
I tried to install a SSL certificate to my site, but I was unable to restart apache services, this error is shown:

“Job for bitnami.service failed because the control process exited with error code. See “systemctl status bitnami.service” and “journalctl -xe” for details.”

I followd exactly this tutorial: https://lightsail.aws.amazon.com/ls/docs/es_es/articles/amazon-lightsail-using-lets-encrypt-certificates-with-wordpress

Please help on brign services back, I don’t care anymore about SSL, just want to get y site back

The error is clear in the Apache’s log file

AH00526: Syntax error on line 4 of /opt/bitnami/apache/conf/vhosts/wordpress-https-vhost.conf: SSLCertificateFile: file '/opt/bitnami/apache/conf/bitnami/certs/server.crt' does not exist or is empty

That file does not exist or is pointing to a non-existing file. Please note that we are not maintaining the guide you followed so we suggest you recover the previous SSL certs or generate new ones

Note the paths are different in the guide

and use our HTTPS configuration tool later to generate the Let’s Encrypt certificates

Hi, thanks for the help! I did the first link, but when trying second one I get this error when running bncert tool:

It seems you didn’t create valid SSL certificates inside the /opt/bitnami/apache/conf/bitnami/certs/ folder. Please take that into account when running the commands of the guide. You can also copy the SSL certificates from /opt/bitnami/apache2/conf/

sudo cp -rp /opt/bitnami/apache2/conf/server.key /opt/bitnami/apache/conf/bitnami/certs/
sudo cp -rp /opt/bitnami/apache2/conf/server.crt /opt/bitnami/apache/conf/bitnami/certs/
sudo /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh restart apache
