Keywords: LAMP/MAMP/WAMP - AWS - Technical issue - PermissionsDescription: Hi,When I try to copy files to htdocs folder I get the following error:File transfer failed or error while writing: received failure with description 'Failure'.
Error while trying to run support tool:
It seems you ran out of space in the instance and that's why you can't transfer any file. Can you get the information about the status of the filesystem with this command?
But I have 20GB space. Also why am I not able to run the support tool?
I’m not getting any kind of notification when you’re replying to my post. Could you please look into this.
Here’s the screenshot. How do i check which folder is utilizing more space?
The tool needs to have some free space to generate some files and copy other files and that's why you can't run it.
Run these commands
sudo find . -type f | cut -d "/" -f 2 | sort | uniq -c | sort -n
du -h -d 1
This guide has all the information
Hi @jotaKindly support.
As you can see, the apache2 folder is the one with more files. You can run the same command inside that folder to get the information related to it. However I suggest you check the applications you deployed inside that folder and increase the disk size if required.
When I do lsblk I see some additional row likeloop1loop2loop3loop4
Attached screenshot. What is that and how can I delete these or should I not delete these?
Those volumes belong to the snap package. You can learn more about this here
