Using latest installer found on site. I made a few changes (via following the documentation + other forum posts), everything all worked, until I ran:
$ sudo /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh restart
which returned the statuses of everything as running. I then refresh my webpage to find the (Firefox) default Unable to connect page.
I can ping it, it returns fine. I've checked logs and nothing is being written to the logs. Below are the changes I made:
$ sudo rm -rf /etc/sshd_not_to_be_run
$ sudo systemctl enable ssh
$ sudo systemctl start ssh
2) setting static ip:
$ sudo vim /etc/network/interfaces
iface eth0 inet static
(X and Y is changed to my values - not like this in conf)
$ sudo mv /opt/bitnami/apps/magento/bnconfig /opt/bitnami/apps/magento/bnconfig.disabled
3) updating varnish conf to avoid the 503 backend fetch error:
$ sudo vim /opt/bitnami/varnish/scripts/ctl.sh
then added this to the end of options:
-p http_resp_hdr_len=65536 \
after restart everything crashed - any ideas as to what causes this? I'd post logs, but like I said, none are being made :S
after reverting changes and restarting services, no change. Still unable to connect
Turning off the machine makes the webpage time out saying it can't connect to host, as soon as I power it on again, the unable to connect error returns..
After enabling everything, I can still SSH in. The only issue is the webpage - so my guess is, issue with the static ip side of things?

Stopped apache and reloaded page, to my suprise was the same error. So my guess is the apache server is not being seen by my machine - though not sure. Where do I even begin to debug this one xd
$ curl http://127.0.0.1
curl: (7) Failed to connect to 127.0.0.1 port 80: connection refused
