Too Many Redirect After Migration And BN Tool Issue

Type: Bitnami Support Tool

Description:
I’m trying to put in a support ticket for a issue I’m having but I get an error when I load it in the technical issue. My code is the following: 8ee41c75-06a6-5307-363f-98e6963158d5

The reason why I’m trying to put in a technical support ticket is because I recently migrated a multisite from one location to an AWS Lightsail Instance with a Load Balancer attached. After migration, the subsites were not complete and when I try to log into them, I’m getting a “too many redirects error”. I’ve check the htaccess file, the wp-config and the host files, which all seem to have the correct configuration. Please give some guidance with this issue. Thank you.

Hi @vince.bullock

I’m trying to put in a support ticket for a issue I’m having but I get an error when I load it in the technical issue.

Thanks for reporting. We will review the tool as it seems to be causing trouble to a certain number of users in the forum.

I have tried accessing your site (both through the IP associated to the instance where bnsupport-tool was executed and its domain name) and did not experience any issue. Were you able to solve the issue already?

Nevertheless, I was able to see that there are a lot of lines in your Apache error_log file related to the too many redirects error you mentioned:

Taking a closer look, we can see that all these lines mention a file named wp-cron.php, which is the one in charge of executing WP Cron Jobs. In case you are still facing the issue, can you check your Cron Job setting in WordPress and verify what is the action that is being executed? It would also be nice if you could provide us with more context on this.

Best regards,
