Keywords: WordPress Multisite - AWS - Technical issue - Secure Connections (SSL/HTTPS)bnsupport ID: 45b44a58-8600-61d0-a662-8ede6e3a8d8eDescription: I needed to create a new instance from a recent snapshot on AWS lightsail. But ever since, I've had SSL issues. Certain devices will not load my websites but others will. For example the sites load on my mac workstation but not on my iPhone. I've asked friends to replicate and the same thing happens. I ran the SSL sever test and it fails as grade F: https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=chrisleary.com I've tried to reissue a new certificate with bncert-tool, and it goes through the whole procedure without a hitch. Does anyone know how to fix this type of issue?
I can see your site has a valid certificate and a grade B in ssllabs analyzer. Did you manage to fix the issues?
I was able to restore my websites ssl with a backup into a new instance instead of using a snapshot.
Now that it’s is a grade B - is there a way to disable tls 1.0 and 1.1? I’m not sure if it matters or not
You can set/remove the SSLProtocol directive in the /opt/bitnami/apache2/conf/bitnami/bitnami.conf file and then restart Apache.
/opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh restart apache
This previous case should help:
I hope it helps
Thanks. A little too techie for me. I'll stick with the grade B for awhile.
