Temporary PHP files using a lot of storage

Hi,
I have a Lightsail instance based on Wordpress Multisites, my sites are based on images but with the exception of images in the media folder all are in Cloud Storage.
What happens, my site recently crashed due to lack of storage for MySql, however when I went to see what consumed this storage I came across something strange. The bitnami folder consuming more than 30Gb, something not very normal!
When I opened the folder I realized that /apps/ consumed just over 12 GB while /PHP/ exceeded 20 GB.
Analyzing the PHP folder, I saw that this amount of storage was dedicated to temporary files in /tmp/. I was wondering if there would be any problem in deleting this folder, because normally these files should disappear after restarting PHP or the entire instance.

Hi @Getauscht,

thanks for using Bitnami. Could you run and copy the output of the following commands?

cd /opt/bitnami
du -h . -d 1 | sort -h

Hi @Getauscht,

Did you try to restart PHP?

If not could you run the following command?

ls -Sla /opt/bitnami/php/

Hello, sorry for the delay in responding, the last few days have been very busy.
But what happens, I already restarted all modules, even the instance, but the files are not deleted.

As for the command, I executed it and it returned the following:

Hi @Getauscht,

Can you run this command to know more about the files you have inside the tmp folder?

ls -lR /opt/bitnami/php/tmp | head -n 50

I understand these files are generated by WordPress and the plugins/theme you are using. The plugins' developers will probably provide more information about this but let's see if we can help you with the output the ls command will provide
