Sudo In command not found

Keywords: WordPress - AWS - Technical issue - Secure Connections (SSL/HTTPS)
Description:
Hello,

I am trying to install SSL certificate by following the instructions here: https://lightsail.aws.amazon.com/ls/docs/en_us/articles/amazon-lightsail-using-lets-encrypt-certificates-with-wordpress

I am stuck at step 7.5 when it is asking me to run command:

sudo ln -s /etc/letsencrypt/live/$DOMAIN/privkey.pem /opt/bitnami/apache2/conf/server.key

and

sudo ln -s /etc/letsencrypt/live/$DOMAIN/fullchain.pem /opt/bitnami/apache2/conf/server.crt

I receive the following error:

sudo: In: command not found

Can you please help.

Thanks!

Hi @megano,

I think you are using In instead of ln when running the command. Can you try to run the command using ln?

Please note that the guide you are following is not maintained by the Bitnami team. We suggest you generate the SSL certificates using the Bitnami HTTPS configuration tool

https://docs.bitnami.com/aws/how-to/understand-bncert/

Happy to help!

Are you replacing this with the real domain name?

Please use this guide: https://docs.bitnami.com/aws/how-to/generate-install-lets-encrypt-ssl/

thanks all - I got it working

Hi @megano,

I’m glad to hear that!

Enjoy :tada:
