Subdomain balancing on Multisite WordPress

I'm new to WordPress.

I want to achieve that each subdomain would run in its own instance
with configurable access through NGINX proxy.

Is it possible provided that WordPress is a single root structure sitting on the same server?

Should I create separate servers per each subdomain?

Thanks for your interest in using Bitnami. WordPress Multisite allows you to host many different sites on the same server, but you mentioned you wanted to have different instances, so I don't know if multisite will fit your needs. Can you check our guide that will help you to decide if you should use multisite or not?

Well, it seems like the Multisite instance is running on a single server and in case of DDOS it will fail all subdomain.
