During installation of Bitnami applications via .RUN installer files you are always asked if you want to install the application in something like:
However, if you stop the VM or container that the application is installed in there appears to be no SystemD script to restart the application when the VM or container restarts.
Instead, the Bitnami web page:
instructs you to run "ctlscript.sh start" from the /opt/bitnami directory:
sudo /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh start
which obviously won't exist so its up to the user to understand to go to wherever the Bitnami application actually got installed:
/opt/appname.x.x.x and execute:
sudo ./ctlscript.sh start
So my question is why doesn't Bitnami just create SystemD scripts to restart the application at boot/reboot of the VM/Container ?
