Hi all. I'm not a coder, I'm a designer and artist, so this stuff is all pretty much a different language, literally, to me.
So to breakdown whats happened:
I installed Bitnami Wordpress stack local on a laptop to create a Wordpress site that I would later go live with, that laptop has now crashed and died. (Dell replaced the motherboard and HDD, so all lost)
I managed to copy the Wordpress-4.9.8-0 folder entirely before losing the laptop. I couldn't export Wordpress using any tools unfortunately, the laptop CPU was being throttled so using it was a near impossibility, it took me about 8 hours to copy over the files I managed to save, and they were under 200 megs!
I've reinstalled Bitnami Wordpress stack on a different machine.
Copied the contents to that new stack hoping it will save my work if I update wp-config.php maybe, but if I'm honest, I have NO idea what to even update.
Naturally, the error I'm getting is a database connection error.
Really hoping I haven't just lost all that work guys, if anyone has any advice it would be super appreciated.
Thanks for the help in advance.
