bndiagnostic failure reason: I do not know how to perform the changes explained in the documentation

Description:
I tried to follow the tutorial here to remove my SSL cert but now nothing loads.

Hello @Bobby_Tsukeru,

I can see this error in your Apache logs:

[Wed Oct 13 05:38:23.972094 2021] [core:error] [pid 1154:tid 140342217111296] [client 185.31.175.228:33406] AH00124: Request exceeded the limit of 10 internal redirects due to probable configuration error. Use 'LimitInternalRecursion' to increase the limit if necessary. Use 'LogLevel debug' to get a backtrace.

Apache is not running. Could you run the following command?

sudo /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh start

Apart from that, I can see your image is using swap:

-----------------------------------
Display amount of free and used memory in the system
-----------------------------------
Running: free -m
In: /opt/bitnami

Output:

total used free shared buff/cache available
Mem: 478 276 14 2 187 186
Swap: 634 30 604

Note that WordPress recommends at least 700M of memory (you have 990, but it may need more depending on your case)

You could try to increase your machine type if you face performance issues. This guide explains the process
https://docs.bitnami.com/aws/faq/administration/change-server-type/

I would recommend following the troubleshooting guides in order to find out possible issues. Also, this guide may help too:

https://docs.bitnami.com/aws/apps/moodle/troubleshooting/deny-connections-bots-apache/

Thank you for the suggestion.

I get the error:
Job for bitnami.service failed because the control process exited with error code.
See “systemctl status bitnami.service” and “journalctl -xe” for details.

I fear I have made things worse by tying to fix things.
I have however gone ahead and undid some of those mistakes by reverting to an earlier snapshot and upgrading the instance to one with more ram.

There seem to be some errors with apache preventing it from starting.

Any help solving this would be appreciated.

Hello @Bobby_Tsukeru,

It seems gonit is not running. Please execute:

sudo gonit
sudo gonit status
sudo /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh status

Apart from that, I can see this content under /opt/bitnami/apache/conf/bitnami/certs

apache/conf/bitnami/certs:
total 16
drwxrwxr-x 2 bitnami root 4096 Jul 6 08:51 .
drwxrwxr-x 4 bitnami root 4096 Oct 18 06:51 ..
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root    root   46 Jul  6 08:51 server.crt -> /etc/letsencrypt/live/bXXX.cXXX/fullchain.pem
-rw-rw-r-- 1 bitnami root 981 May 24 04:02 server.crt.old
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root    root   44 Jul  6 08:51 server.key -> /etc/letsencrypt/live/bXXX.cXXX/privkey.pem
-rw-rw-r-- 1 bitnami root 1679 May 24 04:02 server.key.old

Maybe the content under /etc/letsencrypt/live/bXXX.cXXX/ is removed. It that case, restore the old certificates:

sudo mv /opt/bitnami/apache/conf/bitnami/certs/server.crt.old /opt/bitnami/apache/conf/bitnami/certs/server.crt
sudo mv /opt/bitnami/apache/conf/bitnami/certs/server.key.old /opt/bitnami/apache/conf/bitnami/certs/server.key

I hope it helps

Thank you for your time.
It did not seem to help however.
goint says all 3 are not monitored. It also says all 3 are not running.

sudo /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh start

Gives the same error as before.
