Ssh bitnami Odoo13

Hello, I read the bitnami ssh help but I'm not success.
I create the keys and in bitnami/debian... is that correct ? I asking because I see in instances as AMW or Blue Ocean, it's reverse, the key is generated in the computer and upload to the cloud.
Do I copy the private key from debian/bitnami to file.pem in my OSX? If it's like I describe how I can copy the file and sent it to my OSX?

I do not succeed also share the clipboard in virtualbox, maybe because Debian isn't graphic environment.

Appreciate any help, thank you in advance

I would like to establish a simple password connection from my OS X/terminal to the bitnami-odoo. From terminal I can copy the content of my public key id_rsa.pub
I try editing ssh_config file
PasswordAuthentication yes
PermitRootLogin yes
and sudo /etc/init.d/ssh force-reload
sudo service ssh restart

and ssh localhost from the VM but isn't allow the connection.

Any help will appreciate, thank you in advance. Juan

Hi,
You will need first to enable ssh in the virtual machine, for this you can follow this guide:
https://docs.bitnami.com/virtual-machine/faq/get-started/enable-ssh/
Then you will be able to upload/download files using user+password, if you'd like to use public keys, then you will need to follow this other guide: https://docs.bitnami.com/virtual-machine/faq/get-started/enable-ssh-keys/

Thank you Rafael, I did not try ssh with password in this machine, from the beginning I follow the steps to enable ssh-keys connection, and in this process I modify the ssh_config. Once I want back to the ssh connection with password, the connection is refused too, maybe I change some setup in the sshd_config.

I just create a new VM with another Bitnami and trying you from scratch, yes you right, I establish easy the ssh connection. Great ....

Now I will check and comprare the 2 files sshd_config to understand what I edited.
After I can connect from my computer, I will copy the public key and try to change sshd_config to use with the keys.

Again thank you, your answer it seams obviously and open my eyes.

Hi @rafaelrios After compare my sshd_config with the original file I can't find any differences, then I try again several times and server always refused the connection.
To solve this issue I uninstall ssh service and install again how describe this link https://docs.bitnami.com/virtual-machine/faq/get-started/enable-ssh/

Next step is follow the ssh-keys https://docs.bitnami.com/virtual-machine/faq/get-started/enable-ssh-keys/

Now I can copy my public key, using terminal and ssh-password connection !
