Hi and thanks for the opportunity to seek some help!
We recently set up a discourse. I was unable to use your tool for auto generating SSL certificates because I kept getting an error back about the domain not resolving to the correct IP, which it was. As a result I opted for the alt approach, using Lego to generate certificates and adding a cron job to handle renewals.
The cron job didn't work and our certificate expired. I've been trying to renew them today but am not getting very far.
Errors have escalated from - 2019/12/06 11:12:21 Could not obtain certificates:
acme: Error -> One or more domains had a problem:
[discuss.mysolomon.co.uk] acme: error: 400 :: urn:ietf:params:acme:error:connection :: Error getting validation data, url:
to, 2019/12/06 12:02:04 Could not obtain certificates:
acme: error: 429 :: POST :: https://acme-v02.api.letsencrypt.org/acme/new-order :: urn:ietf:params:acme:error:rateLimited :: Error creating new order :: too many failed authorizations recently: see https://letsencrypt.org/docs/rate-limits/, url.
I'm trying to add certificates for discuss.mysolomon.co.uk, which resolves (or should resolve) to 220.127.116.11, and then get some kind of auto-renewal in place.
Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated!
