I am trying to add additional apps/websites to an existing one running happily in
lamp*/apache/htdocs (that's where it was originally installed and I just left it there). Currently it is all running in a CentOS machine in VirtualBox - it's a copy of a live site. I want to add one or two other sites to the same stack as virtual hosts (and then redeploy the whole thing live once it's working).
I can access the main/existing site from my Windows host like so:
(the production site actually listens on port 80, I changed this as it was clashing with something in the desktop environment, IIRC)
I can also access PHPMyAdmin (installed in the /apps/ folder) through an SSH tunnel mapped to port 80.
I want to add another site in /apps/ called test which I have set up as a Virtual Host on port 9002. But when I visit:
...I get redirected to the main site at
192.168.1.105:9000 - and I can't figure out why that would be.
I CAN access this file directly:
My ultimate goal is actually to have the site in /apps/odista/htdocs running on port 9001, but that currently has the same problem: visiting
192.168.1.105:9002 redirects me to
Any idea why that would be? I have never been that knowledgeable about the nitty-gritty of web servers, but I feel like I have exhausted every possibility (all my DocumentRoots seem fine, I don't THINK there are any weird htaccess things going on). Eventually all these sites will listen on the :80 port with the correct ServerName setup, but obviously they are not running on the live domain right now.
