Since AMI version 4.0.60 image uploading gives error 500 and does not work

Latest working AMI image 3.2.71 - bitnami-akeneo-3.2.71-0-linux-debian-10-x86_64-hvm-ebs-5ade96b9-4e4a-4326-9c93-14b0f73d24c0-ami-065c8d976b8795cc3.4
Using only default image without any manual changes.
Support ID from latest clean install 4.0.60 - 1c95c852-641b-f6a7-a27a-ffadc7da1ab4

Have tried AMI images 4.0.60; 4.0.81; 4.0.83; 5.0 but all fail with error message in console - POST 500 (Internal Server Error)

Steps to reproduce:
Deploy clean AMI image in EC2
login on webpage

  1. Settings > Attributes > Create Attribute > Image > Code = image; Attribute group = Other > Save
  2. Settings > Families > Create Family > Code = test > Save > Attributes tab > Add by Groups > checkmark Other > Add > Save
  3. Products > Create > Product > SKU = test; Family = test > Save > Image click to upload > choose random image > "An error occurred during the file upload"

Any ideas or suggestions ?

Also, thanks for providing step by step instructions on how to reproduce the issue, I was also able to experience it! I will let the team know about it. In the meantime, I was able to fix this issue by executing the following command:

$ sudo chmod -R g+w /opt/bitnami/apps/akeneo/htdocs/var/file_storage/

Could you please execute it and report back if it works for you as well?
