Hi @matic.mj, sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
As for your error, we're describing it below but in summary it seems to be happening because of memory issues.
It seems Michiel recommended installing a different installdir, but in your scenario, with so little amount of memory this would not be recommended.
Instead, you should be configuring your staging install in the same installation directory, BUT with virtual hosts. In summary you would need to follow these steps:
- Stop any service running in
- Remove any "Include" line for the staging Multisite install in /opt/bitnami/apache2/conf/bitnami/bitnami-apps-prefix.conf.
Include "/opt/bitnami/apps/staging/conf/httpd-vhosts.conf" to /opt/bitnami/apache2/conf/bitnami/bitnami-apps-vhosts.conf. I assume the httpd-vhosts.conf exists and is properly configured.
In the "httpd-vhosts.conf" file for staging, ensure the following lines are set like this inside the
ServerAlias www.your.staging.domain.com subdomain.your.staging.domain.com www.subdomain.your.staging.domain.com
As you can see, you could also use a subdomain if its DNS entries are correctly configured.
Restart Apache. When you access "your.staging.domain.com" you should see the staging WordPress Multisite installation.
- If you find any issues, please run the Bitnami Support Tool and provide us with the code. If it fails, please manually download the generated .zip file and upload it to Bitnami Community (by dragging to the reply box) or uploading it to a file sharing service.
Note that each virtual host consumes memory, so you could end up finding yourself without much memory left so you should still check the notes below for increasing memory/swap.

Also, the tool reported us that your instance had less than 512M of memory, and less than 640M of swap.
If you are running two instances of WordPress Multisite, that is insufficient and you would need to either increase the memory, or increase the swap (preferrably increasing the memory, as relying only on swap could cause serious performance issues).
In this case, having two Multisite installs, I would at least recommend using 2GB of memory. If you are unable to do that, go with 1GB but you would be forced to increase swap to a considerable amount (at least an additional 1GB).
