I have a WP site running on AWS t2.medium instances behind an ELB and using RDS - the site worked perfectly on 1 instance up until today, when suddenly the server stopped responding HTTP requests, however it was still available via SSH. The load did not look high but I started a new instance and later a third one to make sure. This did not help. The EC2 instances run behind an ELB and use RDS for the DB.
I have set the PHP-fpm to on-demand as well - it helped a bit: now after I restart the server it responds for 1-2 minutes (however quite slowly) then the timeouts return, even though the load is quite normal, the SSH is working perfectly, only the HTTP dies.
I have checked the routing and the vlcs as well, they all seem right...
I am out of ideas where to look next, could you please help me?
