Securing Akeneo Access

Keywords: Akeneo - AWS - How to - Other

So I’m looking for some advice on the best way(s) to secure Akeneo access and ensure that it’s not being accessed by the wrong people.

What approaches would people recommend? And any particular additions, software firewall, IP access restricting - issue here is api access which is why I’ve shied away from that one.

I’ve been searching for guides on this topic and haven’t been able to find any that specifically relate to Akeneo.

Hi @Mud,

Thanks for using Bitnami. In our installations, Akeneo is secured by allowing users to access only with a valid username and password. For the API access, I understand from their official documentation you can also create valid API token for selected users

From the AWS console you can control which IP address or an IP address range can access a specific port of your instance, but I don’t know if that would be enough for you or not. I think asking for further help on this in the official Akeneo forum is a good option, as you can find other users with the same questions and more knowledge about the application than we have.
