Currently the bitnami pages discussing the Bitnami Ruby Stack Application page only lists a subset of the stack's features. For example, Ruby Stack includes RVM (however its an old version and one that can't be updated) and it also has PostgreSQL.
There are also numerous customizations that have been made to the Ruby Stack Application such as:
- Modifications to default environment variables used by RVM and other components
- Numerous bash scripts created by Bitnami that alter system behavior and the user's Bash experience.
- Other features that have been included in the Ruby Stack that I still haven't discovered.
It's difficult to use and trust this stack unless I know in detail what makes it different from one that I could have built myself. Please update the documentation so I can better know what I'm getting into when using it.
Thanks for all your work.
