mysql command line tool or phpMyAdmin? Can you please give us more information about what are you trying to achieve? Did you restart services for changes to take effect after the config files modifications?
sudo /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh restart
If you are trying to import the SQL file using phpMyAdmin, you can select the SQL file directly from your computer under the "Import" tab once you are connected to phpMyAdmin instead of uploading it to your server
Please note you will need to update the required properties in the PHP config file and restart services for changes to take effect.
Apart from that, if you are trying to manually restore a database backup, you can get more information about this process using our guide at https://docs.bitnami.com/aws/infrastructure/mysql/administration/backup-restore-mysql-mariadb/#restore
.zip file error, please check you have uploaded the file to your server correctly. You can use another location owned by the bitnami user, for example its home directory (
/home/bitnami) instead of
/opt/bitnami/apache2/htdocs, to ensure the file is uploaded with the proper permissions. For the
unzip error message, I think the next StackOverflow post may help you.
