During some firefighting on a dev server, one of our engineers installed Apache2. Given that Bitnami LAMP stacks already include a custom version of Apache, this means that there are two installs in two separate places. The issue this creates is that on reboot, the new install fires up. So, my two problems are to remove the erroneously installed Apache2 and to make sure the reboot config files start up the correct version of Apache2.
Some command line output when I prepare to remove the erroneous install:
$ sudo apt remove apache2
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:
apache2-bin apache2-data apache2-utils libapr1 libaprutil1 libaprutil1-dbd-sqlite3
libaprutil1-ldap liblua5.1-0 ssl-cert
Use 'sudo apt autoremove' to remove them.
The following packages will be REMOVED:
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 1 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
After this operation, 502 kB disk space will be freed.
