Keywords: Redmine - Linux - Technical issue - Upgrade
I am upgrading from a stand alone redmine to a bitnami-redmine install. I was following the directions and everything seemed to be going as expected until i tried to run the following command: ruby bin/rake db:migrate RAILS_ENV=production
I get an error that rake was aborted and anther error below that stating: Unable to connect to mysql socket: /tmp/mysql.socket
I tried the advice of another ticket and did the following:
1.cd to installer folder.
3.cd to installer folder/apps/redmine/htdocs.
4.Execute "bundle exec rake db:migrate RAILS_ENV=production"
But it did not resolve the issue. I verified that mysql is running and that the port is open and available. I am not sure what else to check. Are there any logs I should be looking into?
Thank you in advance for any help.
