I installed the SharePoint amp on an Alfresco 5.0c virtual appliance. Alfresco itself (the web application) is running fine and I can connect to http://**server**:7070/ but not to http://**server**:7070/alfresco. This gets reroutet to http://**ip-addr**:8080/share/page/site/alfresco/dashboard. Upon further inspection I found out that I cannot access http://[ip-addr|server]:8080/[alfresco|share] at all.
I did a portscan from the host machine and found no port 8080, neither open nor closed. Then I did a
netstat -a on the virtual machine and found no process on port 8080. If I understand the
server.xml correctly, all requests for port 8080 get redirected to 8443. This port is open and listening. Trying to access it results in some binary garbage being displayed. A quick search through catalina-daemon.out showed that the Sharepoint plugin seems to be running:
INFO [module.vti.VtiServer] [localhost-startStop-1] Vti server started successfully on port: 7070
This might be unrelated, but searching for errors I found:
ERROR [org.alfresco.fileserver] [CIFS Server] [SMB] Server error : org.alfresco.jlan.server.config.InvalidConfigurationException: Error initializing TCP-IP SMB session handler, Permission denied
alfresco-global.properties, I tried changing
share.host from ip-addr to FQDN. This had only the (nice) effect, that the URLs on http://server:7070 now contained the FQDN instead of the IP address. Still no port 8080.
UFW on the virtual machine is disabled, it uses a bridged connection to the LAN (no NAT). There is no firewall on the host.
Sorry for the lengthy post, but I wanted to give you as much information as possible. After all, you will try to help me.
