I would like to have your support. I get stuck with this issue for a week, but I am not able to solve it anyway.
I migrant my WordPress site from A2 hosting to Google Cloud with using Bitnami Stack. Everything is OK except that I cannot install the W3 Total Cache as usual.
I know we have to decentralize the wp-content to 777 before installation. So I did it.
Sudo chmod 777 /opt/bitnami/apps/wordpress/htdocs/wp-content
However, after installation, the plugin informed me that it cannot access the .htaccess file for the rewriting.
I understand you guys disable the .htaccess file for the security reason. And you advice to create the .htaccess.conf for the replacement.
My problem is I am not IT expert, so I do not know how to start with creating the new file or access the .htaccess.conf (if it has been existing)
So Could you support me to give me some command (one by one) that how I can show the .htaccess.conf file ----> What code should I insert into the content of file manually, please?
I know because you disable the .htaccess file and decentralize the wp-content, so it makes all of caching plugin does not support well.
Simple and easy to use the most strong point of Wordpress, that is the reason many users prefer it. So, please consider optimizing the CACHING plugin matter, or otherwise, you should publish more instruction on how to do it.
This will make the Bitnami Comunity getting bigger, I think.
Thank you so much for your help and really looking forward your kindness support soon
