Followed instructions on https://docs.bitnami.com/aws/how-to/generate-install-lets-encrypt-ssl/
Found I don't have the Bitnami auto-configuration script. (Why? Why doesn't everyone have this? Can I get it? Why make things difficult?)
Following Alternate approach steps...
curl -Ls https://api.github.com/repos/xenolf/lego/releases/latest | grep browser_download_url | grep linux_amd64 | cut -d '"' -f 4 | wget -i -
tar xf lego_v2.4.0_linux_amd64.tar.gz
sudo mv lego /usr/local/bin/lego
This has created a lego file (with no file extension name) called Lego in usr/local/bin/lego
So far so good? (Not sure if the Lego file is supposed to have no file extension)
Then i run
sudo /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh stop (Seems to work fine)
sudo lego --tls --email="firstname.lastname@example.org" --domains="sophieholmes.org" --domains="www.sophieholmes.org" --path="/etc/lego" run
sudo lego --tls --email="email@example.com" --domains="sophieholmes.org" --domains="www.sophieholmes.org" --path="/usr/local/bin/lego" run
Both say sudo: lego command not found
Somehow lego is not installed? I'm new to Linux and I don't know what's going on here.
