Description:
Hi,

By mistake I changed permissions to /bitnami/wordpress directory using

sudo chown -R bitnami:daemon /bitnami/wordpress/
sudo find/bitnami/wordpress/ -type d -exec chmod 0775 {} ;
sudo find /bitnami/wordpress/ -type f -exec chmod 0664 {} ;
sudo chmod 660 /bitnami/wordpress/

And now my site is not working. When I go to my site redirect to /wp-admin/setup-config.php

I tried to change the permissions again with

sudo chown -R daemon:daemon /bitnami/wordpress/
sudo find/bitnami/wordpress/ -type d -exec chmod 0775 {} ;
sudo find /bitnami/wordpress/ -type f -exec chmod 0664 {} ;
sudo chmod 660 /bitnami/wordpress/

but still redirecting to /wp-admin/setup-config.php

Hi @dagalar,

Changing the permissions of the /bitnami/wordpress folder shouldn’t generate that redirection. Please take a look at this other post to reset the WordPress’ permissions configuration

I also saw some errors related to the symlinks in the Apache’s log, please take a look at this other post

If you continue running into issues, please contact the WordPress’ developers to know more about this. You probably removed some files/information and that’s why the app doesn’t know that it’s already installed.
