@edu_ Hi thanks for the reply I solved my problem with this command:
sudo chown -R bitnami:daemon /opt/bitnami/apps/wordpress/htdocs
Also I had to define password for bitnamiftp user
sudo passwd bitnamiftp
I installed this Wordpress module with this option, which meant to not cause such permission issues by default anyway.
 Development Settings: Enables changes to file permissions and configuration settings that make it easy to install plugins, themes and updates for certain applications, but that are not optimal from a security standpoint. Recommended if you are using this stack for development purposes or within your company.
edit: I'm using LAMP Stack 5.5.30-0 (64-bit) VMware VM. I installed this via VMware and Virtualbox both had same issue.
