Keywords: Mediawiki - Windows - Technical issue - Otherbnsupport ID: 0f5a5281-d253-e8cd-1b69-16ce75cccc0aDescription: I'm trying to modify max_upload size and post_upload size so I can import a huge .XML file. When I modify literally anything I need to in php.ini the changes do NOT reflect. I make sure to restart MySQL every time I make a change.I've run 'ctlscript restart' every time I made a change, I've cleared my browser cache, I've even used a different browser and still I'm getting the default post limit when uploading my file. I know XAMPP is running because I go to localhost and get the correct XAMPP page. This is driving me nuts. I really don't want to have to pay a server to host my MW just to get some backups from this damn file.
You need to restart PHP for the changes to have effect:
sudo /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh restart php-fpm
Thank you. Although I'm not running Linux, but I knew how to run the batch script anyway. That solved that issue I had.
But now I have a new issue: my import says "Import failed: Expected tag, got #comment." Yes, the .XML is UTF-8 and I didn't modify it.
Could you ask in the official MediaWiki forum? It does not seem related to the Bitnami configuration.
Sure, no problem. Thank you again.
