Keywords: WordPress - Amazon Web Services - Technical issue - Permissions
So I have a wordpress stack installed on aws. In order to use a file manager plugin in wordpress, I have to use relaxed permissions. As weird as it sounds, I'm having to change the permissions of files in the wordpress installation everyday almost. When I come back the next day, they are automatically changed back to what they originally were.
My question is: Is there a cron job or something set up that automatically changes permissions of WordPress files?
P.S. This may be because I do a 'git pull' on my installation every morning. If the permissions are being reset because of that, then how do I fix that? basically i need the permissions to not get messed up. Even if I delete the installation and do a git clone of my website again in the directory ( which means new copies of all files created), the files should have the permissions I want.
