Keywords: WordPress - Amazon Web Services - Technical issue - Secure Connections (SSL/HTTPS)
I have had SSL configured for awhile now which was running correctly up until this point. I restarted the server to see if it will help fix issues with a plugin we are using for SAML single sign on. When I restarted the server, it stated:
/opt/bitnami/mysql/scripts/ctl.sh : mysql (pid 2650) already running
/opt/bitnami/php/scripts/ctl.sh : php-fpm (pid 1999) already running
/opt/bitnami/apache2/scripts/ctl.sh : httpd could not be started
When I checked the SSL configuration, I got this:
-- Check: Active SSL Certificates in Apache Configuration --
Apache File: "/opt/bitnami/apache2/conf/bitnami/bitnami.conf"
Certificate file: "/opt/bitnami/apache2/conf/cert2.crt"
Key file: "/opt/bitnami/apache2/conf/server.key"
Active Certificate check failed: "open /opt/bitnami/apache2/conf/cert2.crt: permission denied"
I can't recall permissions being changed on anything other than WordPress related files so this has me stumped. We did recently switch our WordPress installation to a Multisite, but that did not cause any problems with the server upon installation.
I am going to send information to you via bitnami support tool. Our website is currently down and would like to get it back up asap.
