ownCloud on AWS - Can't access config

I have a clean instal of bitnami on AWS (created through AWS Marketplace).

Everything is working fine, but…

I added the A record to my DNS and I got the message to add it to the trusted domains.

Problem is, I can’t access the config folder. I’m getting a permission denied while accessing through AWS Key Pair (bitnami root user).

What to do?

Hi @miguel.albano
Once you have located your key from the keypair you used to launch the instance, you should be able to access your instance through SSH following this guide on connecting with an ssh client.

Username is bitnami.
Make sure you are using the private key.
Tell us if you still got problems to access your server.

I can access the server using SSH without any issue. And I can do most of what I wanted to do.

However, when CD the config folder within the own cloud folder, I get a Permissions Denied message.

Hi @miguel.albano
You need superuser rights in order to modify things inside the conf folder.
You can login as root executing the following command:

sudo su

Then you will be able to perform actions as the root user and you will have permissions to cd inside the conf folder and edit files.
