I am running Open edX Ginkgo.2 via the Bitnami Launchpad for AWS Cloud
I am trying to activate an xblock that I installed, but the Advanced component option is not available after I install the xblock and add it to the course advanced settings. I believe the problem is because I did not install it as the edxapp user. I tried to follow the directions on this forum to activate the edxapp user, but when I tried to execute the step: source /opt/bitnami/apps/edx/edx-platform/venv/bin/activate, it fails because the venv directory does not exist. Is there a different instruction that will work instead?
