The AWS instances were launched through the Bitnami Cloud. Previous versions died with
Proxy Error The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server. The proxy server could not handle the request GET /. Reason: Error
I don't have a screenshot, as i don't really want to have to crash it again to make it happen!
As for the installer 'community' edition of odoo 9 - the place I need to save the database from, I got the
proxy 502 error creating new database
message, and similiar when trying to install an addon that automates backups. I'm really scared about losing this database, as it's the only up to date record i have of all my businesses transactions since february. Not only that, but the previous version of the database, that had worked fine on AWS with Odoo 9, also crashes Odoo 10 with the above mentioned message.
I'm slowly copy-pasting data across in the hope that i can sidestep any bug this way, but it would be a great help if you could let me know a better way to pick and chose which data on a database can be migrated, or even if there's a way to do it without using any addons.
PS. I tried doing a pg_dump instead of a zip, and this crashed the installation completely - not the normal proxy error message- just a single line of unformatted text saying 'proxy server error'.
Thanks again for your help
