Description:
Hello, I have followed the following guide: https://docs.bitnami.com/general/apps/odoo/administration/upgrade/ to upgrade the Odoo 14 to the latest nightly version.
I am experiencing the problem that the following command gives error:
sudo python3 setup.py install --prefix=/opt/bitnami/apps/odoo --install-lib=/opt/bitnami/apps/odoo/lib
Any idea what's the correct way to upgrade it?

Hi @ljutzkanov,

Thanks for using Bitnami. Could you tell us if you a running these commands?

cd /tmp/
wget http://nightly.odoo.com/14.0/nightly/tgz/odoo_14.0.latest.tar.gz
tar xvzf odoo_14.0.latest.tar.gz 
cd odoo-14.0.post20201112/
sudo python3 setup.py install --prefix=/opt/bitnami/apps/odoo --install-lib=/opt/bitnami/apps/odoo/lib

If you still have an error could you add the error to the thread? (you can use a screenshot)

Here is the error I receive:

Error: pg_config executable not found.

pg_config is required to build psycopg2 from source. Please add the directory
containing pg_config to the $PATH or specify the full executable path with the
option:

python setup.py build_ext --pg-config /path/to/pg_config build ...

or with the pg_config option in 'setup.cfg'.

If you prefer to avoid building psycopg2 from source, please install the PyPI
'psycopg2-binary' package instead.

For further information please check the 'doc/src/install.rst' file (also at
https://www.psycopg.org/docs/install.html).

error: Setup script exited with 1

Hi @ljutzkanov,

Could you tell us the version are you currently running?

We have a Support Tool that will gather relevant information for us to analyze your configuration and logs. Could you please execute it on the machine where the stack is running by following the steps described in the guide below?

Please note that you need to paste the code ID that is shown at the end.

I just followed the upgrade script.

hi Ibone,
As far as I can see there are updated dependencies for the newer version of Odoo and I am not sure how to track them and install them. Could you, please advice on this?
The python also looks like moved from 3.7 to 3.8.
Any guidance for this?

I installed all dependances and the "sudo python3 setup.py install --prefix=/opt/bitnami/apps/odoo --install-lib=/opt/bitnami/apps/odoo/lib" passed with success.
However, I when I migrating the data and updating the module with " sudo su daemon -c "/opt/bitnami/python/bin/python3 /opt/bitnami/apps/odoo/bin/odoo-bin -c /opt/bitnami/apps/odoo/conf/odoo-server.conf --workers 0 -d bitnami_odoo -u all &" gives me the following error:
This account is currently not available.

The user exists and I can't see a problem.
Any idea?
